Champagne Punch
Got some folks coming over sometime
during the holiday season and don't want to be stuck serving beverages
all night? Here's an entertaining idea. It's a festive beverage
that's easy to make, easy to serve and fun to drink, make a champagne
punch.
Now, there are lots of recipes for
champagne punch but here's a favorite.
First get some sparkling wine . . .
two bottles. Don't spend a bunch because it's going to be mixed
with lots of stuff.
Layer a holiday jello mold with a package
of frozen strawberries just covered with water and freeze it.
Put a can of frozen limeade with a
cup of orange juice in a large bowl. Add one liter bottle of club
soda and one liter of ginger ale. Then pour in the sparkling wine.
Float the frozen strawberry ring on
top and voila! Champagne punch for about twenty-five. Serve
in chilled champagne glasses and enjoy the party
Pop the cork.
