Wine Values
If you like to buy
wine, then you know that wines from Australia offer great selection
and value at the wine shop. The Aussies epitomize the “New
World” style of wine, wine meant to please you today with
bold, fruity taste and easy drinkability.
The reason is simple:
Australia is really a country sized version of California’s
vineyards with typically diverse exposures, soils and weather influence
and it has consistent growing conditions every year. This
means that high quality wines are constantly in the pipeline to
our store shelves.
There’s an attitude
about wine in Australia that’s refreshing too. It’s
like the Australians themselves . . . straightforward, likeable
and decidedly unsnooty.
Wine’s not a
mystery beverage to be enjoyed by a select few, but a fun part of
everyday life. So that carries over into the wine they make
and the way it’s priced – top to bottom there’s
no better wine value per dollar. And they’ve carved
their own particular niche with Shiraz.
Pop
the cork™.
